Sir/Madam, I have completed articleship of CA and giving CA final exams, now I have joined a law college. Although we know that we can practice either of the profession, CA or Lawyer, not both of them together, and in future will practice only one of the profession.
But I want to know that whether Bar council of India bans anyone to continue a distance education course such as CA, although there is no liability on my side regarding CA course for going regular office for training /articleship.
Will I be compelled to hide CA degree if I choose to be a lawyer, knowing of the fact that I continued CA while I was pursuing LLb.
Although I want to practice only one profession and there is no objection in the eyes of ICAI for a person like me who dont have any liability to go office for training to join a college or course, but want to show both the degrees in resume.
I want to hold validly both the degrees in the eyes of Bar council of India, as the main concern is coming from BCI, as I dont know whether they will allow to continue CA or not.
Please reply as early as possible as there are many others like me who have the same query.

You can continue doing Law. No issues. Once you qualify as CA as well as LLB, you will have to select your profession. vis a vis you can always write your qualification as CA, LLB and so on
