Dear all, A company has taken a loan to repay an existing loan. it has incurred certain amount of expenditure towards loan processing fee. The loan is repayable over five years. Can the processing fee be expensed over 5 years. i.e expenditure to the extent it relates to current year is charged to revenue and the rest is shown as prepaid to be expensed in subsequent years. Is this correct?
