28 February 2013 1. can the preference shareholders are the member of the company and there name can be there on register of member?

2. Paid up share capital means?

equity+ preference or only equity shares?

Preference share holder is the member of the issuing company and according to the company act 1956 company ready up to date members register
Preference and equity share both is different on the subject matter of voting, dividend and so many rights
