10 July 2014 ppf limit has been ikcresed from 1 lac to 1.5 lac..... why this has been specifically mentioned in the budget..as if limit u/s 80c is increased...limit of ppf automatically get increased...

10 July 2014 No, limit of investment in PPf was 70,000. But from 1st Dec. 2011 limit had been increased to rs. 1,00,000.
