Please tell me how can i post Self Assessment Tax for the Finance Year 2007-2008? Shall i post in Profit & Loss A/c. and write off?

Please give me the answer.

21 February 2009 the self assessment tax paid should be shown in the balance sheet under cuurent assets and to be shown untill the assessment of that year is not complete.
