Post Dated Cheque paid by the Bank

I need your valuable openion of the following issue:

I had issued two cheques to a party one of them was post dated cheque (Due in July 08). However, the party first presented the post date cheque to the bank and bank processed it by debiting my account but due to this my second cheque, which was a valid cheque, got Dishonoured on account of insufficient balance in my account.

Kindly suggest me what kind of action I can take against the bank as the cheque bouncing is matter of Negative Credit Rating.

Please reply me ASAP

14 May 2008 The bank has committed a mistake in honoring the post dated cheque. You can legally proceed against them in opinion for compensation.
