21 June 2011 Respected experts...i am shikha sharma . I am presently persuing CA,CWA,CS (finals).My ca final is due on nov-2012.my point of concern is that i am 30 years old now and by the time i finish up with my qualification i would be around 32 and i dont even hv any work experience so far..so i thought someway it would be benificial if i did CS and CWA ..but now i realise most of the companies coming for campus placement r putting age limit factor...i always dreamt of working in a good comapany but i guess the age factor will go againt it... i dont understand what should i do at present.....please do help !!! please !!!

21 June 2011 Well if age is ur concern then sorry to say its not correct. One of my friend got qualified his c.a at 30yrs of age he recently got recruitd in infosys getting 7.5 lacs p.a.(5th attempt to pass final), and u getting worried madam, very soon u vl b triple qualified. Only very few companies vl have age restrictions. I think aftr getting 3 qualifications ur packg will start with min 10lacs p.a. And c.a is most imp in all 3 course, nd u have to pass it at any cost. All the best 4ur results.

I do appreciate ur concern. But in my opinion after 1 or 2 years of work experience you will be equally EMPLOYABLE like those who passed CA at 22 years.

Do'nt take a single percent worry & devote 100% on studies.

It is quite surprising that you are worried about your age. In fact in employment age do matter but that is after 40 onwards. Since you are 30s you need not worry. Let me tell you I am C.A. and my age is 60+. I am in practice but still I am getting offers from C.A. firm as well as industry to join them at any salary I like. So what it matters it is only experience and nothing else. Once you clear your C.A. go for campus interview with full preparation. I am sure no one can stop you from getting good placement provided you have the skill, knowledge, temperament, capability, ability and command on your nature, behavior etc.

So, do not worry and start your preparation for the forthcoming examination and come out with flying colors. You can join the community Pass C.A
