06 May 2011 Why we can't claim PF in our account,
if we did'nt claim it for 3 years from
the date of leaving the company?

Why PF department put that restiction?

Can anybody clarify

06 May 2011 Dear Hari

You will not face any problem for claiming your Pf but under the provisions person are entitled to get interest up to the 36 months of leaving their jobs after that they cannot take any benefit on their deposited amount.
So better option for you claim your pf amount with in 36 months

The thing is i claimed my PF but it got
rejected and the reason for that is claiming after 3 years. And PF authorities are asking for reason, why it haven't claimed before.
