I want to know that, A private organisation covered under the Provident Fund Act,1952, have right to not calculate the PF contribution on new joined employees having basic salary more than 6500/-p.m.
and can also freeze the contribution limit upto 12% of 6500/- i.e. 780.00, if once basic salary raised from 6500/-.

No way yaar, The co. dont have any right to not deduct pf. If the employee had worked only for one day in the first month.. then also the company have to pay pf on that one day salary..
Secondly the company can not freeze the limit..
Co. had to pay pf on the new salary after increment in each case..
So if company is doing so.. its wrong... company is in default.........
