Personal finance planning - practise area for ca?

Can a CA holding COP take up personal finance planning of individuals as practise area?

There are CFP [Certified Finance Planners] & many other foreign-based qualified professionals who offer these services, but there seems to be nothing to stop a practising CA from this function.

Apparently the answer is Yes, since this would fall in domain of finance consultancy, but wanted to confirm.

Yes you are right. CA can practice on Personal Finance planning. Since there are no binding requirements on signing any personal finance planning documents, any freelancer having expertise can do this for a fees.
