Person of indian origin

22 June 2011 As per income tax act a person shall be deemed to be of Indian origin if he or either of his parents or any of his grand parents was born in undivided India.

So if a person is born in India and his parents and grand parents are born in India AFTER 1947 i.e NOT IN UNDIVIDED INDIA,will that person be of indian origin?

Yes, that will also be a POI because the phrase is "any of the grand parents" which has been wrongly reproduced by you as
"grand parents".

So, even the parents or grand parents of the parents had born in Undivided India, the person can be called as a POI.
