Pcc to ipcc conversion

i would like to seat in ipcc exam in may 2014..earlier i was registered in pcc and completed 3 and 1/2 year article ship and 100 hrs it training..i applied for conversion scheme by depositing rs 500 in september 2013..i am assured that i will be able to seat in may 2014 ipcc exam by the receptionist in eirc kolkata..but when i get the registration certificate i am allowed to seat in nov 2014 ipcc exam..why ?,,i would like to know the reason ..is it still possible to me seat in may 2014 ipcc exam?

as the rules says if you complete 9 months article ship you will be allowd to seat ipcc exam..but i have completed 3&1/2 years ..i should be alloed to seat may 2014 ipcc exam ..is not it..?

Yes, as you says that you have completed your article ship then after completing of IPCC in May, 2014 you will be eligible to appear in Nov 2014 final exam, if are taking registration if final timely.

Generally the time period is not specified for final registration. You should have a valid final registration number at the time of filing of Final examination form with Institute.
So I will suggest you to take registration in final 3 months before filing the examination form. At that time the Institute will send your final registration letter.
As per Regulation 50 of the CA Regulations, 1988, a student will be eligible to appear in Final Exam, after completing of 30 months (2 Years and 6 months) of article ship.

Provisional registration is not possible dear.
You can not take registration in final before completing IPCC.

REGULATION 29C: ADMISSION TO FINAL EXAMINATION
(1) No candidate shall be admitted to the Final Examination unless he has passed:-
(i) the Intermediate (Professional Competence) Examination in its entirety, held under these regulations;
(II) completed the practical training as is required for admission as a member on or before the last day of the month preceding the month in which the examination is held or has been serving the last six months of practical training under Regulation 50 on the first day of the month in which the examination is held.
(III) he produces a certificate to the effect that he has undergone a study course for such period, as on the first day of the month in which examination is held, in such manner as may be decided by the Council from time to time; and
(iv) completed the Advanced Course on Information Technology Training under these regulations for such period and in such manner as may be decided by the Council, from time to time.;
“Provided that a candidate who has passed Professional Education (Examination-II) under the syllabus as decided by the Council under sub-regulation (5) of regulation 28B and has completed the practical training as is required for admission as a member on or before the last day of the month preceding the month in which the examination is held or has been serving the last twelve months of practical training including excess leave, if any, on the first day of the month in which the examination is held and has completed the said study course and Advanced Course on Information Technology Training, shall be admitted to the Final Examination.”

suppose results of ipcc declared in july.. and i take the registration in final immediately..before the form fillup in august for final exam i am allowed registration no from the b.o.s..in that case can i seat in november 2014
