15 May 2008 what happens if net banking a/c not opens till 31.5.2008 , Banks are accepting the tds challan as before.

is there any penalty on depositing the tds through bank without net banking

15 May 2008 it is mandatery from 01/04/2008 more than 80% assessee not open net banking a/c so uptil we cant say what actions will be taken by dept.
