Payment of tax for notice u/s 143(1)

22 September 2014 I have received notice u/s 143(1) & ask for payment of interest which was not paid while ITR filed. Now i want to pay the same. But Querry is whether it is self assessment tax or regular assessment tax catagory????reply urgently plz
