Passing Percentage

25 January 2008 Hi...Can you pls tell me the passing percentage of PE-2 Nov 2007 examination and also Cut off marks for merit list??

26 January 2008 Eligibility
Any candidate who is certified as eligible by the Board of Studies Section of the concerned decentralised office of the Institute as on the 31st March / 30th September, as the case may be, for both the groups will be admitted to the examination. Applications for admission from candidates who do not fulfill eligibility requirements will stand rejected. There will not be any provisional admission. Candidates of erstwhile Intermediate course are eligible to appear in PE - II Examination either in both group/First Group/Second Group, as the case may be, provided the candidate has been issued the eligibility for both groups, subject to limit of a maximum of 5 consecutive attempts under PE-II scheme. It is clarified that candidate possessing eligibility certificate for one of the groups only will not be eligible to appear in the examinations even though he may be appearing in one of the groups only. However, such candidates will have to pass the PE - II examination in a maximum of 5 consecutive exams. For full details, refer to the relevant provisions of the Chartered Accountant Regulations, 1988.

TOP RANKERS:

The names of candidates who secured first fifty ranks in the order of merit will be published subject to obtaining of 55% of marks in one sitting in both groups together

26 January 2008 Merit List:- 55% and above.

Pass %:- Per subject 40 marks and an aggregate of 50% that bieng a min of 300 on 600 if both groups are attempted OR a min of 150 on 300 if one group .


26 January 2008 Pass % will be declared in February.
