The answer is correct. The sacrificing ratio is itself calculated from their sacrifice i.e. A - 1/4 of 4/5 = 1/5 or 2/10 B - 1/2 of 1/5 = 1/10 So the ratio is 2/10:1/10 = 2:1
Also, if think from other point of view let the total profit be 5000. Then as per New Ratio share will be > A - 4000, B- 1000. Now Sacrifice of A is 1/4 of 4000 = 1000. Sacrifice of B is 1/2 of 1000 = 500.
