18 August 2011 I am having job in a CA firm & also I have my private practice.

I am going to apply for part time COP.

In this regard, I want to know that with part time COP, can I sign 45 tax audit reports?

Also, can I train article clerk with this part time COP?

18 August 2011 If you don't have Full time COP now, you should not practice. If you are working as an employee in CA firm then Full Time COP will not be given to you by ICAI. However if you are working there as consultant, then you can apply with the ICAI for full time cop.

If you have part time cop, no certification works should be done by you as clearly mentioned by the ICAI. As the tax audits are certification works, you cannot and should not do tax audits.

In addition to that, you should not take any article student with part time cop.
