Open "ground" given for marriage attracts service tax ?

This query is : Resolved

19 December 2013 Respected sir,
My question is that whether an open ground given for marriage function or a charity function is liable for service tax or not ?
If yes, then under which service ?

19 December 2013 taxable in both the cases.
renting of precints of a religious place meant for general public is exempt only.
that's not your case and hence chargeable as per section 66E(a)
also vacand land if related to agriculture if given on rent then not taxable
