I have applied for equity and preference shares of a pvt ltd company. However company has not provided me share certificate yet. Since long time has passed, I think they have already alloted the shares. How can I view whether they have alloted or not ? Can I view the register of members online ? Please help. It's urgent.

you can check the latest Annual return (form MGT-7) filled by the company, in which list of shareholders is attached to check no of shares allotted to you through view public document link by paying challan of 100rs.

The company has not held agm yet. In f.y 1415 , they did not allot shares. and since 1516 has just ended , no such filing of mgt 7 would have been done. your views please.

In your case, there can be two possibilities
1. You have applied for the share & shares were not allotted. Check you bank account statement whether amount towards share application money has been debited from your bank account. 2. Company might have allotted shares in demat mode. In such case no share certificate will be issued. you can communicate with company secretary or concerned person of the company.

It is a private limited company. So my account has been debited with the amount at the first instance itself. no such allotment in Demat form.
