01 March 2012 Please, tell me the procedure of "Online Payment of DVAT & CST", which is mandatory for all the registered dealer.

03 March 2012 Dear Arpit,

Follow the below steps:
1. Go to online banking of your bank website.
2. Search for DVAT online payment under indirect taxes payment link.
3. Click on it and fill DVAT Form 20. After making payment you can take print out of DVAT Form 20(challan)" Part C" which is to be attached with DVAT Return(form 16).
4. Part D of Challan (duplicate copy) will be sent to you by bank after verification of payment. This will be your copy for reference.
5. Not all banks are authorised for online payment but includes SBI, HDFC, PNB, CBI, AXIS BANK, CANARA BANK, DENA Bank etc.
