Online apply of st-1 on two user id.

07 February 2014 Dear Sir,

I online submit ST-1 and there was some mistake in application. Not yet submitted to range officer the had copy and address proof. Ca club Expert given advice to log in another id and submit afresh. then i tried that and also submit to range officer the print copy mentioning regitration certificate no. that was pan no with suffix 2.The ST-2 alloted to me on in 2nd id.i want to know the next process of service tax registration. whether submit the st-2 to range officer for seal and signed. Now i have received the mail refers sent back st-1 on 1st id from aces. should i forgot the 1st application?

Pls anyone solution of my query. it is very urgent.

07 February 2014 Ignore the mail, but file the documents for the ST-2 and get registered. The mail is sent to all to file the documents. Since you had applied for ST on second ID, after a mistake in first, you are supposed to file documents as per second ST-ID, and ignore the mail pertaining to first ST-1.

07 February 2014 What you have done is online registration. You have to print out ST-1 and online registration documents. On the registration documents, it is written you have to submit documents. A sample of online regn. letter is given hereunder :

New assessee seeking registrations in Service Tax should submit to the jurisdictional Range Officer, a print out of the application form
submitted online duly signed by the authorized signatory along with copies of the following documents :
(a) copy of PAN,
(b) Proof of residence,
(c) Constitution of applicant at the time of filing an application for registration,
and
(d)Power of attorney would be required in respect of authorized person(s).
Existing assessee seeking amendment in registration, will also submit the above listed documents, relevant to the amendment, alongwith the
print out of the application to the jurisdictional Range Officer.
After satisfactory verification, Registration Certificate will be issued.
