To obtain new share certificates reflecting changes such as face value or company name, you typically need to follow these steps:
1. **Request from Company**: Contact the company's registrar or transfer agent where the shares are registered. Request them to issue new share certificates reflecting the updated details (in this case, face value and company name change).
2. **Submission of Documents**: Typically, you may need to submit the following documents: - Original share certificate(s) you hold. - Proof of identity (such as PAN card, Aadhaar card, passport, etc.). - Proof of address (such as Aadhaar card, passport, utility bill, etc.). - Any additional documents specific to the change (like a copy of the company's notice of name change or face value change).
3. **Application Form**: Fill out the prescribed application form provided by the registrar or transfer agent. This form will include details such as your name, address, folio number (if applicable), number of shares held, etc.
4. **Payment of Fees**: There may be a fee for issuing new share certificates. Ensure you check with the company or its registrar regarding the applicable fee and payment method.
5. **Processing Time**: Once you submit all required documents and fees, the registrar will process your request. The processing time can vary, but they will issue new share certificates reflecting the updated details once processed.
**Receipt of New Certificates**: After processing, you will receive new share certificates by mail or courier to your registered address.
**Old Certificates**: Typically, you may need to surrender your old share certificates to receive the new ones. The registrar or transfer agent will provide instructions on how to return the old certificates.
It's essential to keep copies of all documents submitted for your records. If you're unsure about any specific requirements or procedures, contacting the company's registrar or transfer agent directly will provide clarity and guidance tailored to your situation.
