Object clause in moa

This query is : Resolved

17 December 2011 Recently we have filed Form 1A mentioning three main objects but ROC has asked for resubmission with the comment that "multy objects not allowed".

My query is whether ROC's objection is legally valid?

17 December 2011 In law it is not there but they are doing. In 1A you have to put only one and MOA you put your main objects subject to a max of 4 points.

17 December 2011 Since name of the company should reflect Main objects of the company. Stand taken by ROC is not illegal. You can mention more than 1 main objects in Form 1A provided they are related to each other directly.

Eg: to carry on the business of construction, real estate, township development, builder and developers is allowed.

However, to carry on the business of construction, jewellery, consultancy, sharebroking, trading is not allowed.

Thanks.
