04 November 2015 Is there any restriction under FEMA for investing by NRI in plot in India. Can he purchase agricultural land and build a farm house for living of his Resident parents ? Dear Experts in NRI transactions, Pl clarify

If you invest in the name of your parents, then permission is not required.

If you are NRIndia, permission is freely given, no issues as such.
