Notice of penalty u/s 271b

08 February 2015 Respected Sir,

I have Partnership Nursing Home. None of our partners are professional persons. I had filled ITRV for A.Y 2013-14 from .xls indicating Nature of Jobs code - 0605-Nursing Homes, and the Bed rent was shown as on Sale of goods.

But Department had issued an Show cause Notice to me U/s 271B. I had already informed before the issuing Officer that none of our partners are professional person. So it not stand under 271B. But that officer had discharge and another officer had posted on that chair. He issued one notice of penalty U/s 271B by arguing that 0605 code is for the professional person.

Now may any one help me what I have to do for relaxation of the penalty. May I submit rectification for that A.Y and what will be the Nature of business Code & in what column the Bed rent occurred by us may put in the JAVA console.
