Hi there, we have just registered under excise in last week or so. my question is 1. Can we take the credit of Raw material / Oil and lubricants/ Machine spares / Capital goods (Purchased in march 11)? 2. Can we take the credit of service tax? if yes how much back we can go?

No. after registration you will provide you party your registration No. he will mention on invoice you registration no. then you can take cenvat credit.
