In New Form No. 17, there is a column "PAN Valid (Y/N). My question is Who and How can we verify the PAN. Previously some sites had this facility now they have stopped due to some reason. Aslo where No. of deductee is higher it is not possible to verify the each and every PAN.

Hi, The PAN of the deductee will be automatically verified by the computer system & it will appear in the relevant column when you will fill up form No. 17.
