I have completed my articleship recently. I have passed 1st group of CA Final and appearing in May for 2nd.
I would like to go for practise once I completed my CA. Presentley I am woring with medium size CA firm where I spend articleship period.
I just wanted to know if I want to get good clients, what to do, do I have to get registered myself with any group or is there any profesional group to approach. I have little network to expand. I see many reasons for not to join industries.

When one qualifies for CA; there are so many avenues available to him.
In practice also; there are several scopes :
1. Join one big company first as an employee to have broad experience and after 3 years; start your own practice. But don't disclose your strategy to anyone i.e. even to your friends or relatives also !
2. Join middle firms. Many ca firms are in search of capacity building. They wish to include fresher in their team. But, simultaneously you should qualify DISA.
3. Start your own practice if the city is not a very big where you are residing. If family can support you, within 3 years period you can expand. Initially start from Income-Tax and Tax Audits. These are easiest route to enter in the practice.
4. Visit metro cities where you have some contacts. Meet with some firms and offer them to open a branch at your city. In this manner you can join with big firms as a partner without losing your independence.
