This query is : Resolved

14 March 2011 please show me the calculation of NAV of mutal funds, if invested with the comibanton of common stock, preferred stock, bonds and short term bonds.

if i would invest Rs. 6,000 in commonstock, Rs. 4,000 in prferred stock, Rs. 10,000 in bonds. show me how to arrive at NAV.

OR

please explain me with a new example.

If i'll search for the answer, i'll get the answer as: market value of the fund's assets on particular day minus any liabilities are divided by the no. of outstanding shares.

but am bit confused with this answer, if the fund is the combination of all the above, then how to arrive at the NAV.

15 March 2011 Simply yaar make total of all i.e.20000 and deduct all liabilities and divide it by no.of unit
Wherever fund manager has invested funds money just combine all of them and find total assets
