How we can find out that we have paid STT on the same sale transaction??

14 July 2010 Sale of LT mutual fund is exempt if STT is paid on sale.

For an equity oriented mutula fund generally STT is paid and for a debt fund STT is not paid.

So it depends upon the type of fund in which u have invested.
