Whether a trader can register itself under MSME Act - Udyog Aadhaar? Will there be any legal implications if he register his Import Export business under service category.

Hi Pragati, You have rightly taken the registration since traders are allowed to be registered under Msme under the service category. Rather you can take the benefit of the provision envisaged under the msmed act 2006

Sir i found a Office Memorandum that traders are not reqd to go for MSME reg. Whether that is no valid anymore.

Hi, I have gone through it. They have declassified the said activities as per the OM hence it shall not be applicable till further orders. Thanks
