I have done my articleship from 2 firms. While filling the form 108, I have to give total leaves taken in the recent firm but I gave total no. of leaves taken in both the firms. And therefore, I got a letter from ICAI stating I have excess leave of 36 days when infact I have not taken any excess leave. What shall I do now? Kindly reply soon. I am really worried.

kindly prepare a revised form 108 with correct leave details. send a copy of the same to ICAI alongwith a covering letter signed by your principal stating the mistake made in the earlier form

Write a representation letter to ICAI. Explain the facts. Request for the setting aside of the said error. Ensure that this is done by your Principal and not by you.
