Why a minor cannot give his CONSENT to act as a Director?

Sec 87 of IPC states person above 18 can give a valid consent
Sec 11 of Indian Contract Act, a person who has attained age of majority is competent to contract
Sec 3 (1) Indian Majority Act, every person attains the age of majority on his completing the age of 18 years.
