05 August 2012 ICAI has dropped the "undercutting" from the list of ethics. Instead, it has given a fee structure based on the category of person. Please visit the site icai.org for further details.... search for minimum fees for SMEs.

05 August 2012 The Institute has advised for minimum fee structure to be charged but very few are following it and no action can be taken by the Institute for not following its guidelines regarding charging of fee.

05 August 2012 The minimum fee to be charged is only recommendatory & not mandatory.

However fee can be charged higher than minimum fee.
