The processing time for MGT-14 forms, especially for alterations like changes to the object clause in the Memorandum of Association (MOA), can vary depending on several factors such as the workload at the Registrar of Companies (ROC), completeness of submission, and any specific issues or queries that may arise during the review process.
Typically, ROC offices aim to process and approve MGT-14 filings within 15-30 days if all documents are in order and there are no additional queries or issues. However, in some cases, this process can take longer, especially if there are discrepancies or if additional information is required.
If your MGT-14 filing is showing as "under process," it means it is currently being reviewed by the ROC. It's advisable to regularly check the status of your filing on the ROC portal where you submitted the form. If there are any concerns about potential penalties or if there are queries raised by the ROC, it's crucial to respond promptly and provide the requested information to avoid delays or penalties.
If you're uncertain or need more specific information about the status or potential timelines for approval, you may consider reaching out to the ROC office directly or consulting with a professional who specializes in corporate filings to get guidance tailored to your situation.
