mentionning wrong period for professional tax

02 February 2011 respected sir

at the time of payment of profesiontal tax i put the preriod 01.12.2010 to 31.12.2010 instead of 01.01.2011 to 31.01.2011

so it for the month of jan-11 so what can i do whether i have to pay new challan or what else.

12 February 2011 You should approach your Assessing Officer with an application along with copy of payment challan and request him to make the necessary correction.
