22 September 2008 Hi,

Do reimbursement of expenses incurred on dental/optical treatments fall within the purview of exempt medical reimburesents provided by an employer?

If yes, is there any circular clarifying the nature of medical treatments that qualify for the exemption?

22 September 2008 Any consultation with physician and the fee paid get it reimbursed are falls under reimbursement of expenses.

Pl. also confirm mediclaim is there. . . ?
This reimbursement is apart from the regular Medical claim..?
