15 March 2013 If employee get cheque from his employer towards remsmnt of medical exp. of his father, is this taxable on his hand????

15 March 2013 Why not. Yes, reimbursement of medical treatment up to 15000 is not taxed as perquisites in the hand of employees.

Even we reimburse such expenses as direct credit to employee's bank account.
