24 April 2008 The Company is not providing any Medical benefits, nor any PF ESI., If the Employee provides the Medical Bills and is it possible to claim in his Salary

24 April 2008 no provision in income tax act

24 April 2008 IT IS COMPANY'S EMPLOYMENT POLICY NOT TO PAY MEDICAL,PF,ESI SINCE THEY MAY NOT BE STATUTORILY OBLIGED TO DO SO.
TILL SUCH TIME THE COMPANY CHANGES POLICY,THEY WILL NOT REIMBURSE MEDICAL EXP. SO YOU WILL NOT BENEFIT.
YOU MAY ASK THE COMPANY IF AS A SPECIAL CASE,THEY REIMBURSE YOUR BILLS REDUCING SAME FROM YOUR SALARYOR SHOWING IT PART OF SALARY.
BUT REMEMBER NO FIXED MED. ALLOW,WILL BE ALLOWED AS DEDUCTION. ONLY REIMBURSED AMOUNTS CAN BE CLAIMED AS DEDUCTION UPTO A MAX. OF RS 15000/-P.A
BESIDES MEDICAL REIMBURSEMENTS,CHILDREN EDU. ALLOW. OF RS 100/-PER CHILD PER MONTH UPTO MAX. 2 CHILDREN CAN BE CLAIMED AS DEDUCTION BY AN EMPLOYEE.
AS YOU MAY ALSO BE AWARE RS. 800/- P.M IS ALSO DEDUCTIBLE AS TRANSPORT ALLOWANCE BY AN EMPLOYEE.
