What is the current provision regarding the MATERNITY LEAVE BENEFIT ( like - no. of days, paid or unpaid leave, eligibility criteria and such other things important for this benefit. ) to the employees , working in pvt ltd company.
Whether this benefit is connected with ESIC act.
Is it true that,.... this Act does not apply to any such companies to which the provisions of the Employees’ State Insurance Act are applicable for the time being.

If employee is covered under ESIC Than the leave and benefit covered under ESIC act i.e 90 days extended able additional 30 days with medical advice at rate of full wage subject to contribution of 70 days in preceeding year.
IF employees not covered under ESIC or ESIC not applicable, Employer has to provide benefits as per Maternity benefit Act-1961
