26 May 2009 We wish to start manufacturing footwear for an exporeter

Will we have to pay excise or as supporting manufacturer we will be exempted from paying excise.

27 May 2009 The exporter should follow CT-1 procedure. In that case there will not be any requirement to pay Central Excise duty.
