20 February 2015 if one person deposited a cheque on 5 th of the quarter but credited in service tax deptt account on 8 th then late penalty is charged?

21 February 2015 Check the seal on Counterfoil of challan. If date is 5th, no interest payable if its 8th then interest has to be paid on late deposit of service tax.
