We are manufacturing unit of cakes and pestries and we are maintaining inward and outward data of raw material and finish goods in our personal software.
so is it necessary to maintain registers in hard copy as well for excise perpose??.

23 July 2013 u can keep it in electronic form till it is demanded by excise dept then u can take prints and submit them

One more thing i want ask.We are selling few products on MRP as well as on discounted price so what will be the process of excise filling,rate of excise and Assessable value??
