For a Water Treatment company, the main object clause in the Memorandum of Association (MoA) should clearly define the company's core activities related to water treatment, components, and associated services. This clause is essential for outlining the primary objectives and scope of the company’s business operations.
Here is a sample main object clause for a Water Treatment company:
---
**"The main objects to be pursued by the Company on its incorporation are:**
1. **To engage in the business of water treatment and purification, including but not limited to the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of water treatment systems, plants, and facilities.**
2. **To manufacture, trade, import, export, and supply water treatment components, equipment, and accessories, including but not limited to filters, pumps, valves, membranes, and chemicals used in water treatment processes.**
3. **To provide consultancy and advisory services related to water treatment and purification, including water quality assessment, system design, project management, and technical support.**
4. **To undertake research and development activities related to water treatment technologies, processes, and products to improve water quality and efficiency.**
5. **To offer maintenance, repair, and after-sales services for water treatment systems and equipment, ensuring their optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.**
6. **To collaborate with government bodies, private enterprises, and international organizations in the development and implementation of water treatment projects and initiatives.**
7. **To provide training and education services related to water treatment and management, including workshops, seminars, and courses for professionals and the general public.**
8. **To do all such other acts and things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects.**
**In addition to the above main objects, the Company shall have the power to engage in any lawful activity that is related to or ancillary to its primary business as described above."**

**Key Points to Consider:**
1. **Specificity:** - Ensure that the object clause is specific enough to cover all aspects of your water treatment business, including components and services.
2. **Regulatory Compliance:** - Make sure the objects comply with relevant local and international regulations and standards related to water treatment and environmental protection.
3. **Broad vs. Specific:** - The clause should be broad enough to encompass future business opportunities but specific enough to clearly define the company’s primary activities.
Consulting with a legal professional or company secretary during the drafting process can help ensure that the main object clause meets all legal requirements and accurately represents your company's business objectives.
