Ltcg on rural agriculture land

This query is : Resolved

05 April 2018 Hello,

Is it possible to know if a land situated 17Kms from nearest muncipal corporation limit with population of 4000 comes under rural agriculture lant?

Is there LTCG tax on the sale of such land?

Thanks,

Mohan

05 April 2018 best is to approach the local government office normally Zila Adhikari to get precise information on the distance and population. As long as the land is beyond the prescribed limits, no tax is payable
