Loss of Refund cheque fromn IT

28 April 2011 One of Our Client has lost refund cheque recieved from IT. How can it be refund amount be reclaimed.

28 April 2011 You can write a letter to IT Department requesting for issue of a duplicate cheque intimating that the earlier cheque was lost and you need to produce the bank statement showing that the amount was not deposited in your account.
If the department accepts your plea, then you need to given an indemnity bond to the IT department. Then they will issue a duplicate cheque.

07 May 2011 you have to given an indemnity bond to the IT department and assurance for lost of cheque.
