Here's a guide on how to find an articleship in CA firms in Delhi, and also answers to your queries about IPCC and articleship registration:
### Finding Articleship in CA Firms in Delhi
1. **Networking**: - **Contact Your College**: Reach out to your college’s placement cell. They often have connections with CA firms and may help you with placements. - **Alumni Network**: Connect with alumni or professionals in the industry. They might refer you to firms or provide valuable insights.
2. **Direct Approach**: - **Visit CA Firms**: Directly approach CA firms in Delhi. You can find contact information through their websites or professional directories. Firms like Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG, and local firms might have openings. - **Submit Your Resume**: Prepare a professional resume and cover letter. Highlight your B.Com (Hons) degree and any relevant skills or internships.
3. **Online Platforms**: - **Job Portals**: Check job portals like Naukri.com, LinkedIn, and Indeed for articleship openings. - **CA Specific Platforms**: Use platforms specific to CA professionals such as CA Club India, ICAI’s website, and others.
4. **ICAI Resources**: - **ICAI Regional Office**: Contact the Delhi Regional Office of ICAI. They may have information about firms looking for articled assistants. - **ICAI Website**: Check ICAI’s website for updates and resources related to articleship.
5. **Professional Forums and Groups**: - **LinkedIn Groups**: Join LinkedIn groups related to CA professionals. Engage in discussions and check for any articleship opportunities shared by members.
### IPCC and Articleship Registration Process
1. **Direct Entry Route**: - If you are entering through the direct entry route, you must complete the registration process for both IPCC and articleship.
2. **Registration Sequence**: - **IPCC Registration**: Generally, you need to first register for the IPCC (Intermediate) exams. - **Articleship Registration**: After registering for IPCC, you can start your articleship. However, you do not need to wait for the exam registration to be processed; you can start your articleship after completing the registration formalities.
3. **Simultaneous Submission**: - **Submission Together**: You can submit both IPCC registration and articleship registration forms together if the CA firm agrees to accept you as an articled assistant before you have completed your IPCC registration. However, make sure you are clear about the registration process with the CA firm and ICAI guidelines.
4. **ICAI Guidelines**: - **ICAI Notification**: Always refer to the latest ICAI guidelines or contact the ICAI regional office for the most accurate information regarding the process.
### Steps to Register for Articleship
1. **Choose a CA Firm**: Select a CA firm where you want to complete your articleship.
2. **Submit Documents**: - **Articleship Registration Form**: Fill out the articleship registration form (Form 102) and get it signed by your CA employer. - **Documents Required**: Prepare required documents such as a copy of your IPCC registration, proof of academic qualifications, and any other documents as specified by ICAI.
3. **Complete Registration**: - **Submit to ICAI**: Submit the completed articleship registration form along with necessary documents to the ICAI office.
4. **Start Articleship**: After completing the registration process, you can start your articleship as per the terms agreed with your CA firm.
### Summary
- **Finding Articleship**: Utilize networking, direct approaches, online platforms, and ICAI resources. - **Registration Process**: Register for IPCC first, then proceed with articleship registration. However, you can submit both registrations simultaneously if allowed.
Good luck with your articleship search and CA career! If you need more specific guidance or have any other questions, feel free to ask.
