21 July 2011 STT Paid...Its exempt income. So LTCL can not be carried forward.

21 July 2011 Further to what Mr. Sanjay has said, If STT has not been paid the LTCL can be adjusted against taxable LTCG & the balance (if any) can be carried forward to the next year.
