19 March 2016 I have received various bills total Rs. 72000/- and paid by a single cheque from the company.

Is TDS 194C is applicable on Rs. 72000/- payment (i.e. more than 30000/- single payment)

TDS is to be deducted since the single payment exceeds Rs.30000/- hence required to deduct TDS on Rs 72000/-
