i tally 9 I have to create ledgers A/c for Sales & Purchase,our Co. is service oriented co.please inform me how much A/c I have to open regarding Service tax.like input & output and most Imp. the cess A/c, & uder which head kindly infom me

WHERE IS THE MATTER OF SERVICE TAX , YOU SHOULD OPEN SERVICE TAX PAYABLE A\C UNDER THE HEAD OF DUTIES AND TAX UNDER CURRENT LIABLITIES. SAME FOR CESS PAYABLE.
ALSO MADE FOR INPUT. UNDER THE HEAD OF DUTIES AND TAXES PAYABLE.
AT THE MONTH END TRF ALL CESS TO PAYABLE AND INPUT AS WELL AS.
ACTUAL INPUT TRF TO PAYABLE AND REST SHOULD BE PAID IN CASH OR BANK.
FOLLOW THE CHANGES FROM JULY 2011.
ACCORDINGLY YOU HAVE TO MAINTIAN YOUR RECORD.
ALSO MADE FOR INPUT. UNDER THE HEAD OF DUTIES AND TAXES PAYABLE.
